  SCA is a global hygiene and forest products company that develops, produces and markets personal care products, tissue, forest products and packaging solutions. While at SCA, I worked within the Personal Care division specialising in incontinence care, baby diapers and feminine care products. I enjoyed two diverse roles during my time at SCA, initially as Team Support Coordinator and then Bid Manager. Both roles provided me with a wealth of knowledge and experience surrounding the healthcare sector and it was while I was at SCA that I became interested in public sector procurement. I was fortunate enough to be promoted into contract management where I managed the process and submission of bids for SCA to the NHS, PCTs, Local Authorities and Care Homes, across the UK and Ireland. A summary of my main responsibilities for each role is as follows:Management of tender process administration, contract documentation and processesMonitor and assess published OJEU notices.Accurate completion of PQQs/Tenders Monitor and comply with EU procurement legislation.Organise and attend tender meetings with customers, and debrief meetings following contract award.PQQ/Tender analysis - present to Regional Management Team quarterly.
