  At the Government, I was interning on a counsellor position. Namely, I was assessing the dignitary with issues specific to the field of activity. My tasks entailed: handling documents that were aimed at the dignitary and forwarding them to the designated departments/persons, monitoring and preparing resources and documents for the dignitary. I was communicating the dispositions/orders/resolutions of the dignitary to the departments/persons concerned. In addition, I had to systematically ensure, through collaboration with different departments/persons (with attributions to the required field of activity) that decisions can be taken correctly and efficiently. Such departments were often instituions of central and local administration. I also had to elaborate and draft documents, letters, e-mails, invitations and replies in the name of the dignitary, ensuring their timely expenditure by mail or in electronic format. They would check if everything is in order before expenditure: that I wrote proper responses, made no accidental spelling mistakes and that I used the required formatting. I also had to perform other tasks entrusted by the dignitary in the field of my competence, and in compliance with the legal provisions. One of such tasks was assessing their social media, and monitoring the social media posts of the two main political parties in Romania, the dignitary being member in one of them. I would have to then create weekly recaps of the most important information gathered from Facebook and Instagram of those parties that week. I would also, on their behalf, have to reply to Facebook and Instagram inquires. Show less
