  Parks and Recreation Summer Internship

  As a paid summer intern, I worked with the Public Works and Golf Course Maintenance departments regularly. I planned a summer softball tournament where I kept the official scorebook and performed field maintenance. I was a life guard at the town pool located at the country club. I helped organize and worked at the TroyFest Fourth of July parade and festival. I performed park maintenance and assisted the Senior Center Director. I also developed a draft ordinance regulating fowl within the city limits. Show less

  Lenoir-Rhyne Athletic Department Internship

  As part of my sports management major, I worked with the Lenoir Rhyne athletic department. I was involved with facilities management and game-day operations. I worked with the following teams: football, men’s/women’s soccer, women’s volleyball, men’s/women’s basketball, and men’s/women’s swim. I completed a two-semester (300 hour) internship in May 2023.

  Summer Internship

  As an intern with the Hickory Crawdads, I worked in multiple facets of minor league baseball. I was involved in stadium operations, press box operations, ticket sales, marketing, customer service, special events, and concessions management. In July of 2023, I was promoted to full-time to overlook ticket sales for the rest of the 2023 season.

  Parks and Recreation Director

  As the parks and recreation director for the Town of Troy, I manage and supervise all recreational programs and facilities. I oversee the use and maintenance of all seven parks and trails in Troy. I am also involved with the planning and execution of the special events that occur in Troy. These events include concerts, festivals, parades, and celebrations.
