    • Serge

      Sept 2014 - Dec 2014
      Art Intern

While with Serge, I was based in Dublin, Ireland working with local artists. I assisted in heading up a group called the Creative Collective which exists to bring artists together to grow and be inspired by others who are like-minded. I learned a lot about the culture and made it a point to do observation studies and take notes. Ireland is a grand country with much to offer to a student of life. I was involved in helping an Irish Anglican Church start a gallery and coffee shop in their building as well as head up an Artist's Initiative. This initiative involved three other women, a painter and two writers. I helped lead us in a three month curriculum that encouraged us to practice our art more and have discipline within it. At the end of my time there, I presented photos and video I had taken at my own gallery/exhibition to summarize my experience. Show less
