  Olympic course Designer

  I am also the head course designer for the Modern Pentathlon, building the ride phase for their world cup championships (Olympic test event Greenwich), European championships and London 2012. This job involves a great understanding of how horses compete in the ring, i have to be very organised and a very good communicator as i liaise with other officials, horse owners, press and TV, at the Olympics i had a immediate team of twenty one volunteers working under me (which did a fantastic job) in very challenging circumstances.   Overhaling the admin systems for operational procedures, that includes and is not limited to;• Quality control – Monthly mill samples to go to labs, designing and maintaining sampling tables by product groups and collating hard and digital copies of sampling and test results.• Health and Safety – writing site wide risk assessments and accessing hardware standards of mill equipment, bringing it up to FCA regulation and H&S standards. • UFAS verification and auditing systems• HCCAP compliance – Designing flow charts of mill mechanics and implementing run rate forms for mill use.• Developing and writing company policies and procedures including absence policies, customer service procedures• Internal and external stakeholder management.In addition, I was also responsible for the overall running of the office and mill site, implementing an internal newsletter to update all staff on developments within the company, carrying out the procurement of utilities contracts and getting quotes for projects and following them through to their completion. Within my role I managed training needs of the staff. Developing their knowledge and confidence in topics in line with their roles and responsibilities and booking them on to appropriate courses. As Office manager I also covered other duties while others were off, using Sage software for taking sales order, inputting purchase orders and providing customer service as first point of contact, I also gave practical advice to customers on the products we sold and providing them with information on new products.
