      My position at the University of Barcelona is that of a research assistant for a state-funded research and development project. My duties include a range of tasks related with different stages of carrying out a research project in the field of linguistics. Some of the tasks I have been involved in are: organising, carrying out and supervising data collection, transcription of oral data, qualitative and quantitative analyses of oral and written data, preparing instruments (visual stimuli) for research purposes, retrieving literature on specific topics, translating research reports from Catalan into English, etc. I have also carried out small administrative tasks such as placing orders for audiovisual equipment or books.
