  This role is primarily responsible for the supervision and delivery of all project controls services. This role entails the development, implementation and on-going support of all control systems, functions and staff on the project. The scope of the Project Controls function includes (but is not limited to) estimating, budgeting, forecasting, progressing, cost controlling, cost optimization, planning, performance measurement, reporting, document control, risk management and managing relevant project processes and procedures.This position plays a critical role in the execution of Palabora’s strategic objective (sustainable long life, the immediate focus being Lift 2 development). Lift 2 project is expected to extend the life of Palabora Copper mine to 2033 when Lift 1 ends in 2017. Show less
