      The Co-Chair of Cambridge University Labour Club is responsible for the entire running of the club, that includes it social media management on Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and email systems. The co-chair was responsible for event management, creating and co-curating events with other progressive minds. This involved the gathering of panel speakers and mediators and me myself chairing or featuring in the events. The scope of this event management was both online and in-person. Additionally, as the chair of the club, one is in charge of the committee, its management, its meetings and its coordination and liaison. The Chair is also responsible for the communications of the club to its members, creating its newsletters, events advertisement, events promotion and its emailing systems.Main achievements in this role include chairing and featuring on a panel between CULC and the University of Cambridge Jewish Society, making us one of the first university Labour Clubs in a number of years to have a successful and productive meeting with a University Jewish Society, necessarily rebuilding our relationship with the Jewish community.       The Secretary of the JCR was an elected position I was elected to in the second year of University with over 80% of the vote. The responsibilities of the JCR included, but were not limited to:- Social Media management of the JCR's communication channels on Facebook and Instagram- EDI training for the committee and EDI consciousness in the functionality of the JCR- Assisting the President in chairing meetings of the JCR, taking minutes and writing agendas- Sitting on the JCR Executive Committee, and mass communicating information from college management to the 500-strong student body.- Community building and event planning My main achievements in this role include: passing a motion via referendum in the college community for a Class Officer to be added to the JCR, successfully overturning a college decision to not hold the 2023 Girton Spring Ball, which ended up being a roaring success and EDI training across the college.
