  Civil Engineer

  Worked at Heathrow Terminal 5 project and contributed to the design of the two rivers that had to be diverted around the side of the Airport. Main issue to deal with was creating an ecologically attractive river bed/channel, whilst keeping the roughness coefficient to a minimum and not attracting birds (due to the risk of bird strike to aircraft)!

My goal is to embed excellence as a mindset across our firm, to be a partner of choice recognised for technical and professional brilliance, and to embrace rigour in our work to continue providing quality services to our clients. Inspirational leader for the Highways, Civil Engineering and Infrastructure group Business Development and Leadership for the Cardiff Highways Team. Project Manager on several projects in the Infrastructure Sector including Civil Engineering, Site Development and Strategic Highways. Implemented BIM on several key projects. Sustainable drainage and nature based solutions were a key expertise of mine. Managed the design of civil and infrastructure engineering elements on projects in several sectors including retail, residential, commercial, industrial, leisure, energy and sport.
