  I was with Eastern Pacific Shipping as my sponsoring company during my cadetship in partnership with Clyde Marine Training. During my time with EPS I gained sea time which is necessary for me to gain my "Engineer Officers of the watch (EOOW) Unlimited” certificate of competency (CoC) from the Maritime & Coastguard Authority.

  During this role I have been a 3rd engineer on the DP2 SOV “Edda Mistral” serving the Hornsea 1 wind farm. It’s motion compensated gangway allows for wind technicians to be able to to walk to work on a daily basis to troubleshoot and repair the wind turbines.

  During this role onboard the DP2 Multi Role Vessel “Vos Glamour” I assisted in supplying several gas installations in the southern North sea with cargo, fuel and water when required.Alongside this we provided standby safety cover for the workers on the installations.

  Currently serving as a 3rd Engineer at the National Oceanography Centre, I am responsible for maintaining and operating engineering systems onboard the Royal Research Ship Discovery. My role includes ensuring the reliable and safe running of mechanical and electrical systems, supporting scientific missions, and participating in the maintenance and repair of marine and scientific equipment.
