  Vice President - Country Risk

  Led UK and MENA analysis for the Country Risk team, including our work on Brexit. I spoke regularly with partners across the Risk stripes, and led the development of the team's Risk Tolerance framework. I also created new methodologies for monitoring our stressed exposures across time and shock size, and spent time with regulators at the OCC, Fed and FDIC explaining our approach. During my time in the team, I covered Europe and Asia extensively in addition to my roles as head of UK and MENA analysis. I led due diligence meetings in 20+ countries, and worked with the DCM team on sovereign bond issuances. I also advised governments spanning four continents on their public ratings. Show less

  Ball-by-ball commentary on Test matches, ODIs and T20Is as part of the Guerilla Cricket (previously Test Match Sofa) team. Published as a cricket writer in the Wisden Nightwatchman, and interviewed on the BBC. In May 2018, I was part of the official radio commentary team for Ireland's inaugural Test match in Malahide against Pakistan.

  Spent two years at Harvard studying economics, leadership, financial crises, geopolitics, and data science. The goal was to learn a lot of the economic and political theory in a more formal setting that I had come across in my previous job at JPMorgan. In paid roles at Harvard, I also taught mathematics, statistics and machine learning to incoming students, and wrote case studies on the Bosnian War for the Intelligence Project at Harvard's Belfer Center. Between the two years, I spent three months in Sri Lanka advising the Ministry of Finance on their sovereign ratings strategy. Show less
