This often means working under time pressure and juggling different roles. As a consultant for the healthcare communications and policy agency Denovo Strategy I worked in medical and life science policy research and analysis, pitch meetings, and report writing and presentations for clients.

  Smart-e is an Audio-Visual manufacturing company, and my role as Marketing Manager has included planning and delivering many different marketing campaigns on new products. In addition I have produced in depth marketing research, and was in charge of liaising with outside contractors for the overhaul of the Smart-e website. My work as Marketing Executive for Smart-e has been extremely varied, and as a result I have gained experience in most forms of text and image-based marketing and copywriting. I have dealt directly with many industry magazines and websites, including authoring articles in the industry press. This has given me experience in media messaging and over the phone communication.

  All Party Parliamentary Group for Respiratory Health

  In my role as Senior Consultant I organise and manage our monthly expert stakeholder groups across a variety of topics, including Asthma, COPD, F Gases and Silicosis. I liase with our stakeholders, host our meetings and keep up to date with invitee responses and queries. I am responsible for making sure the meetings happen at the alloted time and for choosing times that fit our expert stakeholder's busy schedules. I was in charge of the stakeholder invitations to our November 2023 House of Commons event 'How do we improve the public and political prioritisation of COPD?' and was project manager for the event on the day.In addition to this I am also involved in writing, researching and editing APPG Policy Reports, researching relevant clinical, academic and industry experts and helping organise and taking part in APPG parliamentary meetings.The All Party Parliamentary Group on Respiratory Health is a policy focused group dedicated to improving respiratory health care within the United Kingdom. The group engages a variety of governmental and outside stakeholders to produce policy reports on inflammatory, infectious and restrictive respiratory health issues.   I was involved in setting up the APPG in early 2023, taking part in the inaugural meeting and researching prospective members of the group. I have also been involved in planning and taking part of the 2023 Sleep APPG events ‘The Sleep Crisis in the North East’ (June 2023) and ‘The Sleep Crisis in the North West’ (November 2023) both hosted in the Parliamentary Estate.My work for these events included sending email invites to MPs, following up with phone calls to their parliamentary offices, helping set up the event on the day and facilitating national media access to our events.The All Party Parliamentary Group on Sleep is a policy focused group dedicated to improving sleep and sleep related disorders within the United Kingdom.
