  I currently work Operations for Masoko, an E-commerce platform under Safaricom. My main role is to ensure smooth and timely end-to-end operations processes on platform. This entails collaboration with various teams such as vendors & 3PL partners, as well as in-house marketing, vendor management and customer operations teams.In my role, I have created, documented and implemented key operational processes that are still in use as standard operational procedures for the business. I also create and assess operational reports, ranging from partner performance, dropship & delivery timelines, inventory monitoring, and others to aid in business analysis.Key successes include the implementation of operational processes for Masoko as a lean start-up that has seen the TAT performance rise from the 70s in 2019 FY to a steady +90% over the last 2 years. I have also overseen the operationalization of partner hubs across the country in 2020/21 FY, opening up the business countrywide to reach a wider customer base. My role is to ensure timely processing and delivery of all orders & vendor shipments, and enabling cross-functional understanding with Key stakeholders, 3PLs, Customer operations, and the business.I create, review and maintain vendor performance records weekly to ensure adherence to agreed SLA's and KPI's. I also assist implement warehousing processes, mainly the processing and dispatch of orders to ensure delivery of orders within agreed SLA's.Successes include improving vendor performance by over 20% during 2018/2019, meeting set targets for the financial year. We've also managed to create, streamline and implement an effective warehousing process that has improved order delivery performance by over 25%, surpassing targets set for the previous financial year. My main role during this time was support in identifying, recruiting, and on-boarding of vendor partners on to Masoko.I also supported special & functionality pilot projects through on ground activities, input to process materials, training materials and carrying out User Acceptance Tests (UATs) across E-Commerce & M-PESA product lines.Successes included meeting vendor on-boarding targets, launching the platform in November 2017, and managing to keep up with the challenging festive season sales period (November - January) Show less
