      This role involved a myriad of HR duties from new hire benefit orientations to Cobra processing for those exiting the firm, as well as those with other triggering life events. I was a Benefits resource for employees experiencing qualifying life events, and those who wanted general information on firm benefit offerings and the costs associated with them. I oversaw leave of absences coordinating with payroll and staff ensuring program was administered properly under DOL guidelines and any disability benefit payments were correct. I was responsible for processing monthly insurance billings after reviewing for accuracy making certain payments were made timely for all group plans. I handled benefit approvals in Ultipro and did troubleshooting for associated issues in the system as they arose. I planned and execute wellness initiatives such as flu shots, mobile mammography van, and encouraged staff to take advantage of the Hart & Soul Wellness Program at the firm. Show less
