  HMSA is IFMSA's local chapter representing the students of the Faculty of Medicine, Helwan University. It was founded in 2017 with the mission to provide knowledge, skills, and opportunities to enhance and improve both the personality and the careers of rising physicians.Its fields of work include medical education, professional and research student exchanges, public health, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and human rights and peace.HMSA's work is supported by medical students with passion, interest, and training in its fields of work, and in the basic 21st century skills of capacity building, project management, publications, fundraising, and research.for the previous two years I served as active member in the standing committee on Human rights and peace stating as core team member in:- Gender based violence- health equity - encouraging kafala (adoption)in the 2022-2023 term I was honored with a now position as Local officer on Human rights and peace, a new opportunity through which I was responsible of all the activities conducted in HMSA-SCORP. today I continue to serve my community and advocate for Human rights and peace education for medical student in Helwan university as I continue in the previous position, carried out by my passion for human rights and poshing towered a medical community that is fully aware of Human rights and its important in their field. It represents, connects and engages every day with an inspiring and engaging network of 1.4 million medical students from 139 nationalmembers organizations in 130 countries around the globe.For the period of May 2023 till July 2023 I was a member of World Fugees Day campaign Our main responsibility was to conduct camping that is aimed to raise awareness about the plight of refugees and advocate for their rights.
