Top Merchants included Betway, TAB Online, Mango and Kulula Airlines, and Kalahari.net (now takealot). Responsible for query resolution and troubleshooting technical problems. Answered calls and emails for clients and merchants in Hong Kong (working hours 3am – 12pm). Whether it be dealing with priority clients on the other side of the globe or helping a major local merchant implement one of our payment gateways, providing a quick response and the best possible service is our goal.

  Assume full accountability for critical interactions between the organisation and core industry partners and large-scale merchants including SA’s top 5 banks (ABSA, FNB, Nedbank, Standard Bank and Capitec). International banks and partners include Citi, Standard Chartered and Mauritius Commercial Banks, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Diners Club International, BankServ, and the Fintech Association of South Africa. Key responsibilities encompass strategic planning, project management, negotiation, and partner support across each touch-point. Manage Banking projects and Partnership engagements across both PayGate and PayFast entities. Previously reported to the Managing Director and managed most of their relationships and projects with banking partners. Currently, report to the Head of Sales with the mandate to recruit 3-5 sales support staff in 2023. Managed the Admin Banking Team (3) during an acquisition phase.KEY DELIVERABLES• Engage new merchants directly or via a partner (Banks, Platform etc), and depending on the size of the business via the project team concerned or C-level if online sales is the main form of business (eg.
