  Co-directed the Alliance’s Virtual Community program, which taught social justice themes, facilitated reentry planning, and provided a network of support upon release. Curated unique parole plans specific to each member in custody that included researched resources for housing, employment, transportation, treatment programs, and enrichment activities. Partnered with one of the inside members to co-write and lead a budgeting workshop that taught the basics of financial literacy.

Researched a comprehensive historical timeline of the juvenile justice system, both in California and nationally, which was featured in photography exhibit smallasaGIANT to bring awareness to this country’s human rights issue of trying and incarcerating juveniles as adults. Provided the program with research and best-practice methods, which resulted in an evolution and improved implementation of the group therapy component.
