  Volunteered in the office of the Arthritis Foundation-Maryland Chapter for a period of one year during which time I worked with the Foundation on fundraising activities, assisted in answering phones, and mailings to their constituents. I also participated in onsite events and assisted in the set-up and breakdown of various fundraising events. I gained valuable knowledge about the workings of a non-profit organization and later served on several committees.
