  As a Grants Officer at FoodCloud, my duties and responsibilities are to develop, monitor, and manage a continuous pipeline of grant funding opportunities from various institutional donors and foundations, including the European Union, Irish Government as well as private foundations. I stay updated with FoodCloud's funding priorities and match them with relevant grant opportunities, collaborating with project leads within the organisation. I lead or support the proposal development process, ensuring high-quality applications in alignment with funder guidelines. I also develop and implement donor engagement strategies, maintain oversight of grant contractual requirements, and ensure timely submission of reports and payments. Additionally, I contribute to the organisation's multi-year funding strategy and actively participate in team activities and planning. Additionally, I was responsible for managing online fundraising pages across various platforms and assisting in tracking reporting deadlines and composing donor impact reports. I supported grant applications and corporate proposals by collecting and inputting relevant information, while also contributing to the creation and development of our quarterly donor newsletter.
