Author of the Defence Recovery Capability policy, enabling the transition of wounded, injured and sick Service personnel either to a return to duty, or to a useful life within a civilian environment and special advisor to the Defence Recovery Steering Group.Lead for the Mass Casualty Incident policy for the management of a major incident abroad, involving MoD personnel and their repatriation back to the UK. This includes cross-government briefing up to and including Prime Minister level and liaison with all external agencies, including international embassies and governments.Responsible for the implementation of the Deployed Welfare Package, ensuring Service personnel gain the fundamental elements of welfare; communicate, entertain, connect and support.
