  Sheppard Pratt Health Systems, named by US News and World Report as the nation's top mental health program for 26 consecutive years is a psychiatric hospital located in Baltimore Maryland. The hospital provides in and out patient care for adults, children and adolescents. In the last year Sheppard Pratt assisted 80,000 people, of those, 20,000 of them were underage children and adolescents (Sheppard Pratt, 2014). Sheppard Pratt offers programs for trauma disorders, eating disorders, mental health disorders, geriatric and crisis services and has 13 satellite day programs and two residential houses for adolescents with behavioral disabilities and children with Autism.
