Interviewed all vendors / suppliers and renegotiated existing prices or changed vendors to find the best value; based not only cost but also turn-around time, quality and service. Manage a fleet 12 tractor-trailers, bobtails and commercial vans. • Improved received goods inventory accuracy levels. Designed and implemented a comprehensive driver documentation binder and training document, and provided a copy for each truck. The binder provides a step-by-step guide to assist drivers complete the bills of lading and inventory documents for received goods. The new procedures improved our internal audit scores and significantly reduced corporate audit fines and penalties levied by the parent company.• Developed and implemented a warehouse mapping / goods tracking system for a 75.000 square foot warehouse. Redesigned the existing warehouse labeling / locator system to improve accuracy and reduce storage/retrieval rime. The system served as the foundation for the current automated (Windfall) inventory management system. • Secured a four-year contract with the Harris County Election Department to deliver and collect the election booths and related equipment for the semi-annual elections throughout the County.
