  Founder

  Girl Up, a campaign of the United Nations Foundation, gives girls the opportunity to channel their energy and compassion to raise awareness and funds for programs of the United Nations that help some of the world's hardest-to-reach adolescent girls.Girl Up Amoyan, a club under the Girl Up initiative was founded by Sulakshana Saikia along with Arnab Biswas to eliminate gender inequalities among the Female Sportspersons, E-Sports Gamers, Streamers and Comedians.We all know that somewhere or another, females are discouraged or demotivated wherever possible in this world.There are many girls who have immense talent but are unable to showcase it because of the biasness they have to face in this society.The female sportspersons, who show the same amount of motivation and hardwork are not getting enough audience and encouragement just because of their gender.The female ESports Gamers and Streamers who show the same amount of dedication are barely known just because of their gender.And lastly, the female comedians,who have the best sense of humour are always getting demotivated with the worst sexist jokes possible.So Girl Up Amoyan will be working on all these issues so that we can eliminate these gender discrimination as much as we can.Along with these we also work on all the other issues faced by women in this modern world.So we all are looking forward to a great journey and hope that we get successful with our motive!   A community-oriented disaster preparedness program. The major objective is to identify the most climate-vulnerable spaces in Delhi, to map the levels of people's awareness about climate change in that localities, and to understand culturally-rooted strategies prevalent amongst the people.   Polyglot Youth is a project that aims to democratize foreign language teaching to young people around the world through a free, affordable, and exceptional language mentoring program. In its first cycle, the project has already engaged more than 60 volunteer mentors and has already provided learning opportunities for more than 110 young people from 36 different countries.Mentees are paired with a mentor from any corner of the globe and are responsible for watching classes, doing activities, participating in internal competitive games, and evaluating the cycle. In addition, they watch at least two hours of classes per week. Show less

  UN1FY, or the United International Federation of Youth, is the official youth constituency of the Water and Climate Coalition (WCC), hosted by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). At UN1FY, the main goal is to steer global projects so that young people can take part in the WCC process in a meaningful way. We also aim to bring the voice of youth to water and climate-related UN gatherings.
