  The Moot is a competition for university teams with an exclusive focus on cross-examination techniques in international arbitration.The 2022 mock case explored the intersections between the energy-intensive cryptocurrency mining industry, policies aimed at achieving net-zero emissions, and the fluctuating cryptocurrency markets in the context of an M&A transaction, as well as corruption allegations.I had the rarest opportunity to cross-examine fact witnesses and economic experts from leading schools like the University of Oxford, the University of Southampton, Queen Mary University of London, etc. Being part of the first team ever representing Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) was indeed the greatest feat of my faculty this year.   Based on the discretion of the Chief Judge of the Lawsa High Court, UNIZIK, I was appointed Director of the first ever Dispute Resolution Centre (DRC) in the law faculty of UNIZIK. Where my duty is to bare into the mind of the student's theoretical and more of practical aspects of Alternative Dispute Resolution - particularly, Arbitration, Mediation & Negotiation.Likened to the Multi-Door Court House, the DRC will be a place for students to both gain what it's like to play the role of a 3rd party and what it's like to roleplay as a party in such setting - be it in a mock trial, or a real life matter.
