My thesis project was focused on the characterization and analysis of the Fur protein as a regulator of the genes involved in microcystin (cyanobacterial toxin) production in the cyanobacteria Microcystis aeruginosa PCC7806. In parallel, the influence of other environmental factors were also studied.

  As a R&D project manager I am in charge of the design and development of Immunochromatography rapid test (based on coloured latex nanoparticles). Nowadays, I am also working in the third generation of IC focused on quantification.
