      Activities and Societies: Thesis directors: Mª Luisa Peleato Sánchez and Mª Francisca Fillat Castejón. Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. University of Zaragoza. My thesis project was focused on the characterization and analysis of the Fur protein as a regulator of the genes involved in microcystin (cyanobacterial toxin) production in the cyanobacteria Microcystis aeruginosa PCC7806. In parallel, the influence of other environmental factors were also studied.

      As a R&D project manager I am in charge of the design and development of Immunochromatography rapid test (based on coloured latex nanoparticles). Nowadays, I am also working in the third generation of IC focused on quantification.
