      IMCRA was founded as a nonprofit global medical education initiative shortly after one of the worst catastrophes in recorded history (the earthquake and tsunami of 3-11-11), The organization came into being in response to a mandate issued by the OCHA office of the United Nations, "...to provide enduring and long-term native language medical support to areas devastated by natural disaster..."Since that time we have pioneered online and onsite initiatives which inform, aid, and provide resources for both medical professionals and the general public worldwide. We are now conducting an intensive two-week fundraiser to expand the utility of our online site and enhance our Community Cyberspace program which gives the elderly assisted online access to friends, family and physicians.
