Managed a 12 person cross-functional team for a national organization for the formal launch of their rebranding (strategic direction) which culminated in a virtual convening for 600 people from their national network that includes organizations across 23 states.Co-managed a 6-person team alongside the Communications Director on a statewide campaign to increase the civic engagement during the state of Oregon's legislative session, which saw a record turnout for public testimony.       Community Engagement & Partnerships Coordinator

      The We Draw Oregon campaign was a state wide campaign focused on increasing the participation of hard-to-count communites in the 2020 census. I led the educational phase of the campaign. Idesigned the curriculum for a census training program, and managed the program that trained over 11,000 people statewide during a pandemic. I managed a team of 12 Community Equity Coordinators, and oversaw the planning and implementation of a series of culturally centered community engagement events, executing seven 100+ in-person events in just seven weeks and then pivoted the large scale culturally - centered community engagement events to virtual events at the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. Launched a census ambassador program that centered regular people. Recruited and managed over 100 partners, which included local business, government agencies, and community- based organizations, for the campaign. Show less

Built a coalition of 50 community -based organizations across that state. Assisted the comms team in creating campaign messaging. Built and maintained relationships with elected officials, their representatives, and staff, as well as educated legislators and other policymakers regarding the scope and impact of redistricting issues specifically in BIPOC and LGBTQIA++ communities.
