  Participated in all areas of product development, release, and implementation for several ports of CMW+ and B1 level TCSEC technology to various brands of UNIX. Roles included design engineer, developer, technical marketing, field engineer, trainer, support engineer, support manager, test engineer, and system administrator. SecureWare's CMW+ products were used in several projects within the Departments of Defense and Energy, including Lockheed-Martin's F-22 Raptor Stealth Fighter program.

  Performed multiple interdepartmental duties, including resource planning, budgeting, procurement, and training, in a worldwide lab with 50-70 engineers. Designed and developed several product subsystems and automated test suites for the VirtualVault, a secure web transaction server layered on a hardened version of the HP-UX operating system. The VirtualVault earned the Best General Security Product award from Secure Computing magazine in 1998, 2000, and 2001. Also a lead engineer for HP's Secure Operating System for Linux.   Led successful system test phases and releases for two versions of Identity, a Linux-based network appliance and OS-level software driver that allowed customers to strongly identify, control, and audit use of all enterprise network services through user identity, instead of traditional IP address-based schemes. This led auditors to see the relationships between users and assets, confirming compliance with government and industry standards like HIPAA, PCI, SOX, and FISMA.

  Managed program team and ran Scrum development meetings for the CaliberRM product line, with 45 engineers and several partner organizations. As QA Manager, set quality strategy and directly managed a diverse team of ten engineers on two continents (Atlanta, GA and St. Petersburg, Russia). CaliberRM was Borland's breakthrough requirements management solution, allowing business and IT to collaboratively discover, define, and manage product requirements through the software delivery process.
