  Worked on three projects, one as site engineer & assistant site manager on 120 dwellings for a housing association, then Site Manager on 14 dwellings, followed by a bespoke electronics plant and associated offices. For the last two projects I was sole point of contact and ran all site operations including material take offs, deliveries, quality assurance and client engagements.

  During my time with Bovis I was a Project Manager on:Rail projects involving new station work, replacement bridges over running lines and a wide range of platform and ticket office refurbishments. I spent 2 years working around Paddington Station liasing with Railtrack Infrastructure staff to ensure compliance with all relevant standards whilst refurbishing overbridges over rail and LUL platforms, and the British Waterways Board whilst we drained Paddington Basin for a significant refurbishment.Gloscat phase 1, Cheltenham, an FE college.University of Bath Sports Village, indoor tennis & netball courts, weighlifting & fitness area, dojo, accommodation, indoor 100m running track, viewing terrace and associated therapy pool, all whilst working in a live environment.   Regional Design Manager

  I lead and manage bids / design teams for construction projects, I also provide a focal point for design managers in our region, providing support and disseminating best practice. My varied experience has enabled me to overview design competitions, project development, programming and delivery from many vantage points, working with design professionals to harness the best possible solution. During the development stage my role is to ensure we successfully manage and complete the critical activities.I pride myself on my ability to completely understand our client's requirements and aspirations. Our understanding directly affects our ability to effectively communicate how our proposal meets and exceeds their project goals, fundamental to our success. I will work with our team to ensure that we employ the appropriate resources to understand and interpret the client’s requirements and aspirations so that we may translate these to a winning proposal. It is my role to successfully manage client aspirations and our team’s output. I am experienced in both Bid and Design Management and have experience of successfully managing multiple projects concurrently, so able to prioritise, co-ordinate and manage all disciplines throughout the challenging timescales.
