The $1 billion business consists of Aircraft leasing, International Air Frieght, Ground Handling, Trucking and Courier business.The financial environment is complex consisting of multiple legal entities across numerous jurisdictions and tax environments.The role consists of three major areas:INVESTMENT ANALYSIS I was responsible for preparation / evaluation of Business cases for Capital Expenditure. The Annual Capex could vary between $50 to $100 million.Capital Expenditure proposals from across the Globe could be quite varied and could include Aircraft Leasing, Aircraft related equipments like ULD, massive IT Systems and change management, Buidling Facilities, X-ray machines, Trucks. Besides, the role was also involved in Acquisitions, Due diligence and integrations. Investments also has Post implementation review and benefits Tracking. Recognised for effort in Cost reduction.Evaluation of the business cases was done via robust modelling which includes sensitivity analysis, NPV/ IRR calculations, risk matrix and clear recommendationsGLOBAL WORKING CAPITAL MANAGEMENTResponsible for reporting and tracking the management of Working capital of around $100 million. As a key member of this process, we had reduced our overdue by around $ 10 millions.
