Since 2012, we have provided support and services for documented cases of abuse against children, women, and mothers with children. Casa Hogar provides protection and shelter including food, clothing and personal hygiene needs; medical, psychological and spiritual care; transportation; and legal support for the victim's judicial process. In addition to the Casa Hogar Manos de Misericorida orphanage and safe house, the Hands of Mercy ministry also hosts medical, outreach and construction teams; provides internship opportunities; operates a local television station; and is involved in community development. Hands of Mercy and Casa Hogar are located in Jalapa, Guatemala which is about a 2-hour drive east of Guatemala City. We believe we are in a strategic location to make an impact on Guatemala.
