The Safety and Responsibility Statement (SRS) is a major milestone project to develop and improve the quality and capability of the Shift managers, Team leader’s responsibilities in relation to safety at work over all 4 of the EMR Depots. This project required the development of a paper based on the data collected through questionnaires over all 4 EMR depots and a weekly SRS steering Group. The project was tasked to create a training platform to develop the key accountabilities EMR would need to meet the demands of the future operating environment. Show less Having demonstrated the wider range of skills required to integrate new trains to the business I was tasked with upgrading the cooling system of the Regional Fleet 158 Class from the original business case to delivery to all 52 158 Class vehicles. This project was managed by me over 3 different depots and involved the planning of Units to each depot, ensuring spares, stores and capability where available when needed. Directing external suppliers to the correct Units based on the project plan I had developed and keeping the key stakeholders both in and out of the business updated as required. Show less Having shown great capability in supporting minor projects in the Technical Office I was moved over to the Class 170 Introduction Project (Project aluminium). Given responsibility for organising The new Class 170’s availability for training of Drivers, on train staff and Technicians.
