  I have recently relocated with Arup to the Toronto office on a two year assignment, working as an Associate in the Buildings team. I'm looking forward to all the new opportunities and challenges this will bring! I have a strong track record in structural engineering and multi-disciplinary project management, especially when co-ordinating a wide range of specialists. I am particularly interested in the repair and refurbishment f existing structures, with the aim of breathing new life into these buildings whilst retaining important heritage aspects. I have worked on commercial developments, retail, residential, educational, infrastructure and arts and culture buildings covering a full range of budgets for a range of clients from multinational corporations through the public sector to small local charitable organisations. I have wide ranging experience in all fields of construction, from new build steel concrete and timber through to sensitive heritage restoration work. I particularly enjoy the scheme and concept stages of design as this is the time when collaborative approaches can realise maximum benefits for a project. Show less

  With Mann Williams I worked on a range of heritage structures, ranging from historic Cathedrals to mediaeval agricultural barns. Skills ranged from appriasal of existing structures to advanced analysis of new structural interventions.
