Utilized innovative design solutions to secure future development contracts with the U.S. Army.• Directed the collaborative efforts of a design team to develop a full production Technical Data Package (TDP) for the XM813 cannon. • Transitioned from prototype build to Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP). • Analyzed and improved gears for conformance to latest AGMA standards. - Awarded to Eric Eickstaedt, P.E., PMP2013 Project of the Year Award Minnesota Society of Professional Engineers (MnSPE) Feb 2013 The Project of the Year Award was created by MnSPE as a way to honor the Seven Wonders of Engineering Awards Competition entry deemed by the judging panel to be "the best of the best." I was a main contributor to the mechanical design and layout of the 1,200 MT Around-The-Leg marine crane, which is the largest vessel of its kind. This award is given to the engineering project that has advanced the profession and prestige of the engineering community.
