  I assisted the head trainer and the manager of the barn with a multitude of tasks. Some of the jobs included: preparing horses for the trainer, exercising horses, cleaning tack, preparing for horse shows, setting up for lessons, and cleaning around the barn.

  Wrangler

  This was a summer job between undergrad and starting my masters. We were in charge of feeding, grooming, tacking, vetting, and riding the ranch horses. I lead trail rides up in the Rocky Mountains showing off the gorgeous scenery while caring for up to 8 guests and maintaining a calm demeanor in times of stress when horses acted like horses.

  Shift lead bayhost

  I started as a barback in 2019 to work during grad school and have worked my way up to bartender, Bayhost, ACE trainer, Events Ambassador, and Shift Lead. I transferred venues from Tucson to one of the Denver locations to continue working part time while pursuing my career in landscape design.

  Graduate teaching assistant

  I worked for a couple professors as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. The first year I was a TA for an undergraduate general education class in CAPLA where I was tasked with grading. I was a part of that TA team for two semesters. My final year of grad school, I was chosen to TA the first year graduate class their intro to AutoCAD class. For that class, I was in charge of leading discussions, holding office hours, and grading.

  Intern

  I worked as an intern for a summer with a professional landscape design firm that focused primarily on large development sites around Tucson. We were tasked with fieldwork of finding and tagging important native plants with GPS. After spending hours in the field, we returned to the office to import the data and created plans that would be sent to developers to show the protection plans for the noted species we located.
