  National Cyber Games is the largest gaming event organised by Universiti Teknologi Petronas. The games competed in this event are Dota 2, CSGO, and FIFA 19 with prize pool of RM7000, RM5000, and RM2750 respectively.Managed the flow of the matches in CSGO. The team involved are about 36 teams with 5 players each team. I need to make sure the team competing are entering the correct server according to the schedule. The lesson learnt is to communicate and handle the competing teams well so that the event went smoothly.Boosted the efficiency of the event flow by using Challonge tournament. Show less

  English Discovery is an alternative project for the students to organize during this COVID-19 pandemic. It is an initiative conducted by university students to help high school students in improving their English mastery. Responsible to carry out topic on "How to Improve Grammar in English" Spearheaded the production of a piece of video and a poster for the virtual English education with a cross-functional team. The lesson learnt is the way to communicate between the teams effectively. I had learnt about the line authority during this event. Show less

  Maintenance Assistant Engineer

  It's been 8 months of valuable experiences internship at PETRONAS GAS BHD (PGB) GTR Segamat. Being in the maintenance department was very helpful for me to grab the knowledge and experiences on the crucial maintenance and testing. Electrical, instrumentation and mechanical are the major department involved in the maintaining system and equipment in the PGB GTR.Any work done within PETRONAS site requires all workers to obey the Zero Tolerance (ZeTo) Rules. One of the main rule is the work must have Permit-to-Work (PTW). The project which majorly involving me is on the earthing and grounding for the Segamat Compressor Station. Earthing is the process of creating an alternative path for the flow of fault/excessive currents safely into the ground in the presence of minimal resistance or impedance. The primary purpose of earthing is to reduce the risk of serious electric shock from current leaking into uninsulated metal parts of an appliance, power tool, or other electrical devices. Here, the earthing system of control station were being replaced with a new technology where no copper busbar were used and utilized a main copper wire 70 mmsq. The main copper wire is connecting with the 25 mmsq sub-copper wire. The 25 mmsq wire is connected to the common for each control panel. There are 3 main earthing cables: Intrinsically Safe (IS), Instrument Earthing (IE), and Power Earthing (PE). There were testing done such as functional test of the flame and gas & smoke detectors. Calibration of the detectors need to be done if the functional test fail by using calibration magnet.Moreover, mechanical thermal overload relay test on the motor control center. This test aims to check the conditions of the motor relay. Injecting very high current using Megger to trigger the relay in the circuit breaker. Show less
