  I worked at the Roy Blunt YMCA in Bolivar, MO for 5 years total. I started out as a softball referee, moved to membership staff, then to YTeens director and then became the director of the membership & wellness departments. Director Responsibilities: supervised roughly forty staff (member services, child watch, group fitness, special events and personal training staff), membership relations, processing and completing financial aid applications for all applicants, running monthly memberships reports, budget management for department specific lines, branch marketing (creating fliers & posters, preparing materials weekly to send to the paper, keeping track of updates for the website, keeping social media up to date on programs), entering payroll, scheduling and in charge of hiring/firing for all departments responsible for, submitting monthly reports/invoices for payment of services/membership, building and complying to annual budget for assigned departments.   Meets with employees of schools and other employers that Acrisure handles the employee benefits for (roughly 100 schools in MO). Traveling to different employer locations throughout the year to complete enrollment for employees. Speaking with employees and educating them about their benefits and different options they have. Communicating with carriers on changes, claims, billing, etc. Assists Payroll Administrators and Benefits Coordinators with questions about their monthly premium payments, deductions, etc. Works with groups with fully insured and self funded health plans. Keeps meeting minutes for OSBA Consortium Board and Board of Trustees. Speaks with current/prospective clients about their individual health and Medicare supplementary options. Works from start to finish with client on analysis of needs, comparing plan options and communicating them with client, submitting applications, carrier follow up. Certified to offer/sell individual Medicare Advantage, Supplement and Drug plans as well as Hospital Indemnity, Life Insurance, Disability and individual under age 65 medical plans direct through carriers and on healthcare.gov.I am also licensed in Property & Casualty. While working with P&C, my responsibilities included the following. Speaking with current/prospective clients about their insurance needs and putting together quotes/policies to satisfy them. Running some day-to-day database maintenance reports to ensure that client files are up to date. Following up with carriers on changes and new policies submitted to make sure that coverage is accurate. Marketing for our agency as far as social media, blogging, some website updates, etc. Has experience creating marketing pieces, graphics, getting projects printed and creating edited videos for marketing purposes as well as videos to outline certain types of coverage or benefits specific to employers.
