      National Pulse Polio Immunization, Govt of India., Bangalore, IndiaMedical Volunteer, Dr. Ranganath T.S-visited around 1000 houses to vaccinate children aged 0-5 (oral polio vaccine) as a part of the National annual Program covering 172 million children.-worked as a medical volunteer, set up a vaccination booth in a nearby primary health care centre, and administered Oral Polio Vaccine to children.-this was followed by visiting all the houses in the locality over the next three days, to identify and administer the vaccine to any children who didn’tget vaccinated at the booth and thus, increase the efficiency of the process to a maximum.
