  Managing aircraft and engineering projects. Acquisition of 24 Q400 aircraft on to the Flybe fleet. Wet-lease of 4 ATR aircraft to a European airline.Another commission from Redrock.Extended to July 2015. More aircraft projects.Since redundancy in 2010 and I started my own business, this, to date, rates as one of my best projects. I get to bring 24 Bombardier Q400 Dash 8 aircraft into service with Flybe. They've all got to have their C-Checks (big MOT if you like) in Rockford, Chicago and then modified to European standards in Toronto by a specialist aviation company. Then they're coming to Exeter for customisation to Flybe specification and new paint in Ireland. Here's the first one having been ferried from Chicago to Toronto. I like this!Contract now extended to a rolling 6 months indefinitely.The first 3 Republic aircraft have now been through all the necessary works to be on the Flybe fleet. We now have G-PRPL, PA and PB in service. PC is due August 2015 and PD in September 2015.The first new ATR72-600 (of five now) is almost complete in the ATR Toulouse facility. It is due into service at the end of October 2015. Show less
