Examined two cohorts’ educational pathways and postsecondary experiences to determine what works and guide future efforts.Co-Project Director of HSF's Central Valley Outreach program evaluation.       Consultant on two studies for Monterey County Office of Education. The first examined the experiences of African American students to understand how MCOE can better address their educational and social needs. During the African American Community Forum webinar,communicated findings to stakeholders including the State Superintendent, Tony Thurmond. The second study examined the coaching and training experiences of Spanish speaking Quality Matters participants to understand how Quality Matters can better serve its participants and inform strategic planning efforts. Consultant for Bright Futures Foundation. Conducted a one-year study of six Bright Spot elementary schools to highlight the factors that contribute to their site’s success. External Evaluator for Texas State University at San Marcos' Association of Collaborative Communities Equipping Youth for STEM Success (ACCEYSS) which is a two-year NSF grant that helps the San Marcos community support underrepresented youth's enrollment, persistence and completion of a STEM major. Evaluator for UC Berkeley’s Hall of Science’s Educational Pathways to College and Careers (EPICC) which is a three-year Linked Learning project that integrates academics and real world application with a purpose developed as a three week summer course geared to underrepresented high school students in the Oakland Unified School District. Provided formative as well as summative feedback to inform program implementation.Program Director for "El Rotafolio" project, a two-day, Spanish-language suicide prevention outreach training for those who work with California's Spanish speaking community. In addition to directing the process of tailoring material to be culturally relevant, I evaluate outreach efforts of training participants.External Evaluator for Wyoming Department of Education.
