At a tier 1 level, District CPMs may also be involved in supporting school wide initiatives for the project.District CPMs responsibilities will be divided between service coordination for students receiving tier 2 services and project implementation with fidelity (e.g., Evidence Based Programs and diminishing the Stigma around Mental Health.) More specifically, District CPMs will support MHPs and other professionals providing tier 2 services by engaging parents and youth linking youth and their families to community services as needed. In addition, District CPMs will support Project Aware by marketing its offerings to school staff.Tier 3 level intervention requires the most intense collaboration of family members, community partners and mental health professionals. District CPMs will be devoting majority of their clinical time to engaging caregivers and professionals outside the school to participate in cross table discussions and partnerships. District CPMs will compile a resource guide of organizations, support groups, mental health agencies, and other helping institutions that can provide financial assistance and emotional support. As in the lower two tiers, District CPMs will take the lead in implementing new policy or programmatic changes impacting tier 3 services, while providing feedback on old ones; and will support the evaluation’s team’s efforts to track utilization, fidelity and outcomes for tier 3 services.
