  Project: Julius Nyerere Hydropower Project with 2115 MW capacityResponsibilities:•Full responsibility for following the manufacturing, performing Expediting visits, performing factory acceptance tests and performing site inspections on power house, switchyard and main dam electrical equipment such as hydro generator, turbine governor system, Excitation system, GSU transformers, CTs, CVTs, shunt reactors, …. etc.•Review all the projects’ specifications related to the scope of work, prepare site test procedure and site inspection and test plan and review supplier's quality documents for power house, switchyard and main dam electrical equipment.• Perform Inspection on all the executed electrical works at the site against the project specifications, the latest approved drawings and QC standards and procedures.• Finalize the daily inspection requests by carrying out the internal inspection, forwarding inspection notice to the client and handing over the installed equipment to client successfully without any comments• Perform Inspection on all the delivered materials to the site to ensure that the materials completely match with approved material as well as the project specifications.• Assist in vendor list preparation and coordinate a pre-qualification audit to evaluate the suppliers before the PO issuance.• Assist in the project schedule development and work collaboratively with the project team to ensure the timeliness of purchase orders. Expedite and coordinate with all departmental colleagues to ensure that the supplier understood and complied with purchase order requirements.• Issue NCR whenever a non-conformance has been found and make follow up to close it. Expedited, coordinated and interfaced with all departmental colleagues to ensure that the supplier understood and complied with the purchase order requirements.•Closed all warranty claims and punch points successfully with the owner.
