  Group Planning and Controlling (GPC) is the heart of Allianz's finance function and responsible for putting numbers behind actions and actions behind numbers.As Senior Controller Investments I am within GPC responsible for all investment related topics involving Allianz money (i.e. excluding 3rd party asset management). In that capacity, I serve as corporate controller for Allianz Investment Management (AIM), our Corporate venture unit Allianz X, and - before their recent transition to the Allianz Asset Management segment - also covered our Real Estate unit Allianz Real Estate (ARE) and our Alternative Equity Manager Allianz Capital Management (ACP). As corporate controller my tasks include:- Serve as central link between Allianz unit and the Group- Discuss/review strategic positioning of Allianz unit- Review processes and monitor investment performance along the many dimensions of the multi-dimensional Allianz KPI framework- Review and evaluate investment input to Group planning process- Brief top management on relevant developments of Allianz units and their investments- Serve as central counterpart for discussion of strategic positioning and steer top management dialogues (strategic dialogue, planning dialogue) of OEsFurther, I review and provide top management with my assessment on all major investment transactions and initiatives.
