      This successful facility planning consulting group focused on strategic planning to align a client organisation's business goals with its accommodation. As Director I was responsible for the development and delivery of strategic accommodation plans across a broad range of client businesses. The role required keen analytical skills, highly developed communication skills and a capacity to influence a broad range of people at all levels of an organisation. Projects under my direction included:Master plans for the Department of Pharmacy and Faculty of Architecture at the University of Sydney, including strategic brief development with key stakeholders, setting objectives to align with the new academic direction, staged implementation strategy and budget development.Portfolio planning for the devolution of the former State Rail Authority into four distinct business groups including rationalisation of a CBD property portfolio of 13 buildings. Ongoing change management for the new State Rail Authority ensuring all minor relocations remained consistent with the overall Master Plan.Development of a new prototype for Bank of Queensland retail outlets throughout Queensland to reposition the bank's customer service delivery.Strategic Facility Master Plan for TAB Limited Ultimo Headquarters including concept development for refurbishment of the existing building to accommodate a showroom and training centre for venue managers plus their Gaming and Wagering Operations Centre.Accommodation plan for Liverpool City Council offices including facilitation of executive workshops to develop objectives and explore options. During my service at Integral Energy I was responsible for a range of functions including property transactions, facility management, security, waste management, contaminated land management, reception, mail room, childcare and catering services.My achievements in this role are as follows:Development and ongoing implementation of a five-year Property Portfolio Strategy to meet changing business needs within a new organisation structure. The strategy encompasses capital, maintenance and disposal programs across the portfolio and its implementation involves coordination of change programs impacting core functions of the business.Development and management of an annual operating budget of $12.5 million plus delivery of an $80 million capital program.Restructuring the branch to provide a greater focus on service delivery needs across the organisation and achieve a better fit with the overall corporate structure.Development, procurement and management of facility service contracts including catering, childcare, cleaning, grounds maintenance, essential services maintenance and office services. Management of the organisation's property transactions including lease negotiation, property disposal, and land acquisition to meet both the property portfolio strategy and the strategic asset management plan.Project management of a remediation program to address site contamination in line with Environment Protection Agency guidelines.
