  This position involves building regular reporting and compiling and presenting detailed analysis to key stakeholders relating to business performance. A key skill required is stakeholder management, which is essential alongside the technical skills, such as SQL and VBA, needed to build the reports. Since being in the role, my department has embarked on a process where we have streamlined reporting in order to make it more effective and insightful, and placed an emphasis on using the resulting MI to be business advisers, as opposed to merely churning out numbers. Show less This role initially involved contacting innocent motorists who had been hit by our own policy holders. I would then attempt to sell our repair service to them in order to save claim costs. There was a strong aspect of sales involved in this role.
