    • Medical Office

      Medical Office/Billing

Ms Hampton has also provided services in the medical industry, including development and implementation of new systems to improve the efficiency of a variety of different types of medical services. Although these events occurred in a vertical market, the efforts required similar skills related to planning, staff communication, directed implementation, teamwork, and closure documentation. Recently, her efforts included leading the planning and implementation of a new medical patient billing and information system for an existing medical practice. In a separate facility, Ms Hampton worked with a large team to streamline administrative costs associated with the provision of patient services. To implement these changes, Ms Hampton was required to address changes in patient relations, methods used to document medical records and treatment, as well as billing and accounting practices. Other activities conducted by Ms Hampton at medical facilities included review and revision of the safety practices in radiology at an imaging clinic. This work included extensive coordination with equipment vendors, medical professionals, and patients. Show less

    • Simply Reds

      Jun 2009 - Aug 2011
      Owner/Coordinator

Served as the owner and principal event coordinator for a series of events focused on wines of the northeast United States. These events required special attention to the commercial needs of the sponsors as well as attention to the unique safety and security requirements of an event focused on alcoholic beverages. As with all conferences, Ms Hampton ensured the success of the events by developing appropriate planning documents, identifying critical elements, and ensuring adequate communication between government, commercial, and private participants. A typical event included several hundred participants involved in a wine tasting and judging event. Experts were often invited to speak as were representatives from local wineries. Event follow-up served as a necessary component of the success of each event. Local wineries required feedback from participants, reports were filed with local government agencies regarding attendance, volumes of wine consumed, and gifts. Sponsors received lists of participants to augment mailing lists. All of this communication was necessary to ensure the continued participation by commercial entities and sponsors. Show less

Other long lead-time efforts included acquisition of appropriate permits for traffic, parking, liquor, and noise. Ms Hampton was also responsible for identification of the venue theme, design of decorations, and production of informational pamphlets. In the days leading up to the event, the efforts of numerous volunteers were organized, including students from local colleges.
