Promoted from Sgt. to 1st Lt. after attending Officers Candidate School. Attended multiple international exercises (Panama, Korea, Japan, Albania), two short term mobilizations for disaster / humanitarian aid (NYC, NY 2001, New Orleans, LA 2005) and experienced three deployments (USCONUS, Iraq, Guantanamo Bay) in support of the war on terror.Retired October 2013 Show less

      The mission of the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice Computer Analysis and Technology Unit (CATU is to conduct and provide expert assistance to DCJ and other requesting law enforcement (to include federal) agencies, with investigations pertaining to the criminal use of computers and related technologies. These crimes include network intrusion, telecommunications fraud, child exploitation, cyber stalking/harassment, the possession and distribution of child pornography over the Internet, computer tampering/"criminal hacking", and all other incidents in which computers or devices containing digital evidence were used to accomplish or facilitate the commission of a crime.
