       Control the flow of data through email, FTP, CD, DVD, or any other electronic or physical method in and out of the facility. Maintain a logical and operative server environment so that Project Managers, supervisors, Die Makers, or any other person who needed to find information could access that information. Backup and archive email, server data, and other received information in a logistical and orderly fashion so that if needed it could be retrieved and re-implemented. Through use of CAD software such as CATIA, Unigraphics, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc. I made CAD data and designs ready to use for designers, programmers, simulations, CMM, estimators, or anyone else in the facility that needed it including arranging, filing, and plotting that information. Also took data and designs and made this information readable and available for customers and outsource companies if needed. Performed very detailed filing both physically and electronically as my work was inspected through audits internally and through ISO certification audits. Perform IT functionality with peripherals, printers, plotters, other internal and external devices, server functionality issues, access restriction issues, and file access/management problems. Extensive use of Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, CAD software, FTP clients, internet explorer, Windows 2000/XP Professional, Windows Server 2003, and Window Small Business Server 2003. As purchaser, examined stocklist (Bill of Materials) of new jobs being purchased and entered stocklist information into purchasing/receiving software (MAS 90) Sent out items and data in a “request for quote” to vendors and issued Purchased Orders for purchased items to vendors. Worked with vendors to achieve the lowest possible pricing for items ordered Show less
