      Worked as a principal researcher on the topic of 'Customary Laws and Dispute Resolution Mechanisms for Sustainable Peace in Ethiopia: efforts, challenges and the way forward'. ‘ባህላዊ ሕጎችና የግጭት አፈታት ዘዴዎች ለዘላቂ ሰላምና ዕርቅ በኢትዮጵያ:- ጥረቶች፣ ተግዳሮቶች እና ማሻሻያ መንገዶች’. The project included research on large-scale conflicts and human rights violations, existing customary laws and dispute resolution mechanisms, and the reconciliation process in Ethiopia with an aim to investigate whether Customary Dispute resolutions could be reinforced to achieve national reconciliation and sustainable peace.
