  Research officer

  My work now involves research projects, mainly around equalities issues, as I have decreased my working week to two days. I previously provided advice and guidance on the range of equalities issues and work-life balance.I have recently developed comprehensive guidance on neurodiversity rights in the workplace for officers, reps and members. To accompany this work I have produced an introductory, as well as a half day training session.Advice and guidance provided to negotiators and representatives in the form of briefings, members’ and negotiators’ guides on the range of equalities issues. I have updated the equality pages of Prospect’s website and have produced articles for Prospect publications.I was responsible for Prospect’s training around equalities and developed a one day introductory course on equality and diversity, followed up by a two-day course on tackling discrimination in the workplace. I also led Prospect’s training course dealing with harassment and bullying in the workplace. The training courses I delivered include practical issues surrounding equalities, an understanding of unconscious bias and of the Equality Act 2010. Show less
